Drum Fest has been a very successful yearly event since 2012. Unfortunately, we will not be holding our main Drum Fest event this year. We know many of you will be sad and perhaps upset by this news. Drum Fest is going through some growing pains and restructuring. This will make us a stronger organization and help us provide better services and events in the long run. Please be patient with us as we go through this time of change and bettering of Drum Fest as a whole.

We will continue to do smaller events throughout the year as well as doing some other online type of events. Please continue to follow us and stay up to date on the latest heppenings with Drum Fest. We promise to come back soon with an even bigger and better main event!

Meytal Cohen will be the featured Drum Fest 2015 drum clinician / performer! We are super proud to have her at this year's Drum Fest. Meytal is a female powerhouse of a drummer. She is best known for her YouTube drum cover videos. With well over several million views on tons of her videos, she is an Internet sensation.

Meytal will be doing a short meet and greet at Drum Fest 2015. Followed by a clinic and drum performance prior to the main events. Meytal has also agreed to jam with the top three copetitors this year by possibly doing some Copy Cat against them.

Drum Fest 2015 will be proudly held at Eppley Auditorium at Morningside College campus. We have made the move due to capacity as well as making it a more family friendly environment. We have the capacity to have well over 800 people attend and compete!

Drum Fest has teamed up with Girls Inc. of Sioux City to host an Intro to Drumming for the girls this Summer! Drum Fest will be at Girls Inc. in Sioux City on August 3rd. from 1:30PM to 4PM. Any girls that are interested in learning about drums or that have been curious about playing drums, now is your chance! We will be leaving a full drum kit at the Girls Inc. building for several weeks for the girls to enjoy at leisure.

We are pleased to anounce that Drum Fest has been awarded a mini-grant by the Gilchrist Foundation! Drum Fest plans on using the generous grant award for helping cover expenses associated with the Drum Fest 2015 main event.
